Are We On?

Music in the Midst of the Coronavirus

Status: Post Production

When Coronavirus forced concert venues to abruptly shut their doors in 2019, countless musicians were left without a stage and fans without a way to experience the emotion of live performances. But with the music industry at a virtual stand still, some artists brought new meaning to “house concert” by staging intimate online performances from their basements and living rooms.

In “Are We On?,” touring musicians talk about the financial and psychological impact the shutdown had on their lives and the surprising connection they forged with fans over the internet. It’s raw, intimate and unpredictable - and there’s not a bad seat in the house!
